custom portraits

This portrait done in silver point, a technique used frequently by the Old Masters: the drawing is done with a fine piece of silver.

Amber, why did you paint the word 'sample' across all of your paintings? Is it symbolic of the depth of humanity and how the exterior surface of people is only a 'sample' of their true selves? Brilliant!!!
